Induction loops
Induction loops - comprises of a single or twin channel induction loop evaluation unit that sensors anything metallic via the loops cut and laid into the floor. Sense anything metallic providing the mass is sufficient i.e. forklift & pallet trucks and other vehicles such as cars etc. Used for automatic activation of doors. Can also be used as a safety sensor for vehicles as door will not commence closing until the loop is clear of metallic objects.
Radio control
Radio control - comprise of a receiver and transmitter units. The operator simply presses the button, the door opens, times out and closes providing the safety sensors are not obstructed. Suitable for applications where use of the door is for authorised personnel only. It is recommended that additional safety sensors are applied when using radio control equipment. These can only be used for activation
Palm or mushroom push button
Palm or mushroom push button - Used where simplistic manual operation of the door is required to combine with automatic closure. It is recommended that vehicles do not use this system and if doors are used for pedestrian traffic that additional safety features are included i.e. radar sensors or photocells. This system can only be used to activate the door.
Radar movement, infrared movement and presence Sensors
Radar movement, infrared movement and presence Sensors - Radar detectors will automatically open the door when the approaching object enters the fully adjustable sensitivity area. The door will remain open until the object has been removed from or has past the radar sensor. These sensors can be used for both activation and safety.
Pull cords
Pull cords - Used where simplistic manual operation of the door is required to combine with automatic closure. Suitable for all traffic however we would recommend use of additional safety features i.e. radar sensors, photocells or induction loops. This system can only be used for activation
